WaPo: Bush 41 dies of Fill-in-the-Blank

Former President George H.W. Bush passed away yesterday. And the Washington Post rushed their template obituary to print without taking the time to edit it.

Yup, Bush 41 apparently passed away from that all-to-common ailment known as fill-in-the-blank.

At least according to XXX.

Say, isn’t XXX that Supreme Court nominee the Women’s March warned us against?

Whoops. My bad.

That wasn’t XXX.

That was XX.

Bush 41 xx

But wait! It’s gets worse!

I wonder if J.Y. Smith died of fill-in-the-blank too.

Look, I realize that all newspapers have stock obits for notable people all written and ready to go.

But are there no editors working at the Washington Post?

Or were they all too busy prepping their sixty-seventh column about Melania’s Christmas decorations to be bothered?

When a man like Bush 41 – a WWII vet and former President – dies, he deserves better than shoddy crap from hapless rags like the Washington Post.

Maybe the Washington Post should change its header to “Democracy dies in SPECIFIC MEDICAL CAUSE OF DEATH.”

Rest in peace, Bush 41.

I have noticed a lack of editing across the board lately. Typos and left out words are the most common examples. Maybe editors are getting phased out and journalists responsible for their own content now.

Daddy Bush was a fine man, not so great a POTUS, but his kids could have learned a lot from him,,,they aren’t half the people he was

The pre-written obit does not surprise me too much. The lack of proofreading and accurate facts….That does not surprise me much either.

Now, if it was a democrat???????

Answer that and you know how little the MSM cares about republicans let alone deplorables.
