We don’t need lectures on moral decency from Kirsten Gillibrand

Moral decency

In her one and only debate with Republican challenger Chele Farley, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand made great show of assuring New Yorkers that she fully intended to serve out all six years of her term if reelected.

Yeah. That promise lasted about a week.

After winning a landslide victory on November 6, Kirsten the liar went on Stephen Colbert’s show and announced that she was seriously looking into running for President in 2020.

She then repeated this on The View.

“But that’s a very important moral question that I’ve been thinking about,” said our Moral Better. “[W]hat President Trump is putting into this country is so disturbing, so divisive, so dark, that I believe I’ve been called to fight as hard as I possibly can to restore that moral integrity, that moral decency. So, I’m thinking about it.”

Moral integrity and moral decency.

Yeah, right. Because when I hear “Moral Decency and Integrity,” I think of the staunchly pro-abortion Senator who loves using the word “fuck” in speech after speech.

Yes, please lecture us on moral decency and moral integrity, Kirsten. Because if anybody would know about that it’s the woman who all but claimed that due process has no place in Senate confirmations. In fact, she derisively chuckled at the demands that Brett Kavanaugh be afforded due process – declaring him guilty despite the lack of any proof.

Of course she didn’t see anything immoral about the disturbing and divisive circus the Democrats launched in opposition to Kavanaugh, did she?

You’d think someone who wants to restore moral integrity and moral decency would condemn that smear campaign. But no. Not Saint Kirsten. Instead, she knocked everyone out of the way and rushed to the cameras to assassinate the character of a good man.

“I’ve been called to fight,” claims America’s Joan of Arc.

As Tucker Carlson put it last night, “People who know how deeply flawed they are tend not to overreach. They have humility.”

Kirsten, on the other hand, has a very high opinion of herself.

And, it is hardly one she’s earned.

If Kirsten is genuinely concerned about the moral integrity and moral decency of the country, why has she not spoken out against the rampant Anti-Semitism in her party and from the Left in general?

Kirsten is considered the Senator working “from the inside” for anti-Semites like Linda Sarsour.

Why has she not called for end to the violence and harassment from her own side? Kirsten has never said a word of condemnation over the violence of Antifa. She has never argued against the harassment of Republicans at their homes, their work or in public.

And why in heaven’s name is she such a loyal defender of infanticide?

You’ll forgive me if I don’t want to hear lectures about moral decency and moral integrity from this woman.

The disturbing, divisive darkness in America isn’t something President Trump is “putting into this country.”

The fearmongering, the divisiveness — and the dark foreboding that comes with it — is being fomented by Gillibrand’s own party, their handmaids in the news media and the radical anti-American groups she supports.

Gillibrand is worse than a fraud.

She preys on fear as she stokes division – all the while casting herself in the role of our moral better.

But like a whitewashed tomb, her moral preening is nothing more than an anemic veneer.

I remember the good ole days, when Democrats made fun of conservatives who called themselves the Moral Majority. Ah, good times.

Ok my bestest commentator, you finally got me stumped! I am referring to this:
    “But like a whitewashed tomb”
Born and raised down here in the deep south where the old folks had more sayings than a hen has feathers! But a ‘whitewashed tomb’ wasn’t one of them! 🤣
Please don’t leave me sprouting feathers; tell me what a whitewashed tomb might be! 🐓

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” – Matthew 23:27
