Welcome to the Patriot Retort!

Some of you I may already know from my time at All the Right Snark.

And those of you who don’t know me from Adam, you can read all about Dianny here.

After over two years as a contributor to ATRS, I decided it was time for me to break off all on my own, so I created this new site for conservative commentary and satire.

So, now, February 26th will no longer simply be remembered as the day in 1870 when Mississippi Republican, Hiram Rhodes Revels, became the first African American to be sworn in as a United States Senator. Folks across this beautiful country of ours will not only celebrate the birthday of Zeppo Marx on February 26th, they will also celebrate the founding of this new, soon-to-be kick-ass website the Patriot Retort.

The Patriot Retort will feature my daily column DIANNY RANTS as well as oodles of DIANNY Images like this one:

Plus other observations, commentary and, much-needed retort from way over here on the Far Right Wing.

[Hahahaha! I love being called “Far Right Wing” even though I have no earthly idea what that is.]

In opening this new chapter, I do want to take a moment and give my deepest, heartfelt thanks to Reiuxcat — the founder and El Jefe of All the Right Snark — for giving me such an awesome place to begin this journey. I am so grateful for the two years I spent contributing to ATRS and wouldn’t have traded it for the world! And of course, to the ‘Shop Girls of All the Right Snark, I am glad to have gotten to know you all! And though I am moving on, I take a little bit of you with me (and, no, I won’t be returning the Post-It Notes, the Swingline Stapler or the thumb tacks that found their way into my suitcase!).

So, again, welcome to the Patriot Retort!
