With all the stupid going on about being forced to let men pee in the ladies’ room, I gotta question for you. Will a vet be forced to treat Nano?
Remember back in January the story came out that a Norwegian woman decided that she isn’t a human being, but rather is a cat? The 20-year-old human now goes by the name Nano.
“I realized I was a cat when I was 16,” the finicky feline said (in Norwegian, not meowing!), “when doctors and psychologists found out what was ‘the thing’ with me. Under my birth there was a genetic defect.”
Yes, my friends, Nano is a cat born in the wrong species.
I’ve seen pictures. Apparently she is a hairless Peterbald.
Wait. I think that’s the wrong picture.
Ah, yes. My cat has lip piercings too.
Now, Nano prefers to communicate through meows rather than the spoken word.
What cat wouldn’t?
But back to my question.
If she came to the United States and got sick, will a vet be forced to treat Nano?
After all, if businesses can be forced to permit men who believe they are really women trapped in a man’s body to use the ladies’ bathroom, would a vet be forced to treat this young woman who thinks she’s a feline trapped in a human body?
What’s the vet going to say when Nano shows up toting herself in cat carrier?
“Sorry, honey, but I’m a veterinarian, I can’t treat a human being.”
“But I’m not meow a human meow being, meow-meow-meow! I’m a meow cat!!”
“Yes, but your body is human and I’m not licensed to treat humans.”
“I’ll meow sue!!! Because you’re meow violating my rights, meow!”
And what about the Arizona man who thought he was a woman who now thinks he’s a dragon. Did you hear about him/her/it?
He’s gone through extensive surgery and tattooing to make himself look like something Harry Potter has to kill in order to win the Tri-Wizard Cup. He’s had his nose removed, his ears removed, his tongue split down the middle and given a forked appearance.
What would happen if a man who thinks he’s Saint George trapped in another guy’s body grabbed himself a shield and a sword and killed Dragon Man?
Could he be charged with homicide? Or would he only be charged with slaying a mythical creature? He has a tailor-made defense. “I didn’t murder a human being; I slayed a dragon! See how accepting I am!”
Get my point here?
When we as a society decide that it is a requirement for every citizen to play along with the deeply troubled delusions of psychologically damaged people we’re in some serious trouble.
One thing we could always count on from the sane was an acceptance of things like “reality” and “fact.” And let’s not forget “science.” And when it comes to species and gender, the science is settled.
But this willingness to suspend disbelief and play along with the crazies has even stripped us of this rational starting position.
Self-mutilation and delusion used to be considered signs that someone is at the least troubled and at most completely sack of hammers.
And yet the only time people express any supposed concern over “mental illness” is when the discussion turns to our right to keep and bear arms. Doesn’t that tell you something?
With these self-mutilating, mentally ill people, we are expected to bend over backwards to reinforce their crazy. And it isn’t enough to just tell us we should, Leftists inside and outside of government want to force us through legislation to enable the delusions of the profoundly troubled. What’s worse, we mentally stable people are then classified as crazy and intolerant for not wanting to encourage the mentally ill.
Okay, that goes without saying.
Are there people with mental problems? Yes.
Should we as a society toss reason to the wind and be forced by dictate to play along?
